Before putting numbers in order, we need to know their numerical neighbours

One way of putting numbers in order is to arrange them from the smallest (or lowest) to the largest (or highest) number. We call it in “Ascending Order” when the numbers in the sequence gets larger or go up in value.

For example:

4, 9, 16, 18, 21, 25, 35, 37, 48 are arranged in ascending order
