Before, Between, and After
With each number, be familiar on what comes…
BEFORE – the numbers in front (left) of a particular number
BETWEEN – the number in the middle (center) of two specific numbers
AFTER – the number which is next (right) to a specific number
Before putting numbers in order, we need to know their numerical neighbours
Ascending order
One way of putting numbers in order is to arrange them from the smallest (or lowest) to the largest (or highest) number. We call it in “Ascending Order” when the numbers in the sequence gets larger or go up in value.
For example:
4, 9, 16, 18, 21, 25, 35, 37, 48 are arranged in ascending order
